Supervisor - Maintenance
Job Responsibilities
Join the Tropicana team as an experienced Maintenance Supervisor and be responsible for leading the maintenance team to deliver high-quality maintenance on-site.
About the Role
- FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie
- 8 days on 6 shifts off 7 nights on 7 shifts off roster

- Fleet of CAT 793F Dump Trucks and 400t and 600t Excavators
- Supervise maintenance crews and coordinate planned, reactive, and shutdown activities.
- Mentor trades and apprentices, contributing to upskilling initiatives.
- Partner with contractors, OEMs and internal stakeholders to support operational goals
- Lead by example, work, promote and manage in accordance with all WHS legislation, standards, policies and procedures
- Identify and implement improvement opportunities leading to a safer workplace, increased productivity and increased efficiencies
About You
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a mine site environment
- Australian recognised Trade Certificate with over 5 years’ knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of heavy mobile plant
- Strong understanding of performance coaching, team dynamics and conflict resolution
- Hold S26 competency under WA legislation (if not achieved, must be actively pursuing or willing and capable to complete)
- Current C Class Drivers Licence
- Proficient with SAP and/or Maintenance systems (desirable)
