Superintendent - FMS

Job Responsibilities

Join the team at Tropicana as the FMS Superintendent and be responsible for the mine control teams interaction with mine site operations in supporting the decision-making process of the Caterpillar MineStar System and cost reduction initiatives in line with site KPI’s. 

 

 

About the role
 

 

  • 8:6:4:3 roster.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the mine control team to ensure that the business and mine plan objectives are met and consistently achieved in line with the HSEQ policies and procedures.
  • Provide accurate, timely and clear reporting and communication on project performance.
  • Be the business improvement driver for improvements to the MineStar system.
  • Implement processes and procedures for all activities related to MineStar.
  • Assist in solving daily and weekly technical and resource logistical problems.

 

 

About you

 

 

  • Minimum of 10 years mining experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years fleet management system experience.
  • Demonstrated reporting capabilities.
  • Experience in complying with Statutory Mining and HSEQ requirements.
  • Manual driver’s licence.
