About the Role 

 

Due to the continuous growth and strengthening of our position Australia wide Macmahon has an opportunity for a Maintenance Scheduler to support our Surface Mining Maintenance team based at our Tropicana Gold Project on an 8/6 roster. This role is responsible for ensuring the coordination of all of the logistical issues and resource allocation for the mobile maintenance weekly execution plans.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Creation and development of weekly and fortnightly maintenance schedules for mobile mining equipment
  • Ensuring weekly and fortnightly maintenance schedules are communicated and distributed to internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining and updating records of maintenance costs, plant history and task changes within the computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)
  • Organising external service providers as required
  • Creation of component bill of material lists
  • Providing site support for maintenance and KPI reporting, such as resource utilisation and material spend
  • Assisting with the generation of long-term budget forecasts and strategy 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

  • Extensive experience with a varied range of mining equipment & heavy plant maintenance exposure
  • Relevant trade qualification (desired) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role 
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SAP (S4 HANA) desired.
  • Experience with MS Office, including MS Project & Gantt Chart creation
  • Experience working to KPIs such as schedule compliance and maintenance spend.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder skills  
  • Practical problem-solving and attention to detail  
  • Commitment to teamwork and delivery of high-quality outcomes
