Auto Electrician

Join the Telfer team as an EXPERIENCED Auto Electrician and play a key role in maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of our heavy mobile fleet.

You’ll be responsible for diagnostics, repairs, servicing and electrical maintenance across a wide range of production equipment, ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently to support daily mining operations.

About the role:

• FIFO from Perth
• 2:2 roster
• 12‑hour shifts
• 7% market uplift allowance – paid quarterly

About you:

• Previous experience as an Auto Electrician, ideally in a mining environment
• Australian‑recognised Trade Certificate
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding capability
• Experience working on heavy mobile plant such as:
• CAT D10/D11 Dozers
• CAT 994 Loaders
• CAT 6060/6050 & HIT 3600 Excavators
• CAT 16M/24M Graders
• CAT 793 Dump Trucks
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence
