We are currently looking for an experienced HSEQ & Training Administrator to join our Team at Telfer on an 8 days on 6 days off roster, flying in and out of Perth. 

 

About the Role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Safety Team, including data entry in InControl and CHESS, monitoring and closing out hazards and actions, maintaining lead and lag indicators, and assisting with investigations, ICAMs and monthly reporting.
  • Support the Training Team by managing employee training records, auditing compliance documentation, and coordinating new starter mobilisation, inductions and training bookings.
  • Monitor and record short‑ and long‑term absences in the daily leave register.
  • Review sick leave forms and conduct due diligence checks.
  • Maintain accurate employee safety, training and personal records in client systems.
  • Provide ad hoc administrative support as required.

 

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration or Work Health and Safety.
  • Understanding of surface mining operations and prior FIFO experience.
  • Strong attention to detail with well‑developed written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • High level of computer literacy, with experience using Chris21, SuccessFactors, InControl (INX) and RosterOn highly regarded.
  • Current WA C Class driver’s licence or equivalent.
