We are currently looking for an experienced Shotcrete Sprayer to join Underground Mining Team at Nifty on a 2 weeks on (7 dayshifts, 7 nightshifts, 14 days off) roster flying in and out of Perth or other Australian capital cities.

Reporting to Underground Supervisor, Shotcrete Sprayer helps to stabilise and improve ground conditions by spraying shotcrete or fibrecrete onto walls and back of underground excavations.

Daily duties include but are not limited to:

  • Applying shotcrete in accordance with issued ground support standards & work plans;
  • Ensuring shotcrete depth and quality standards are adhered to by conducting probing, application of depth indicators and other specified methods during spraying;
  • Assuring test panels are sprayed and stored according to procedures and test panel forms are completed correctly, including comments relating to operational conditions such as air pressure, application, admixture and mechanical issues;
  • Co-ordinating shotcrete delivery with Supervisor at the start of each shift;
  • Maintaining and up-keeping machinery up to a high standard.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in an underground mining environment;
  • Ability to read and interpret and work in accordance with mine plans;
  • Well- developed interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values;
  • Current manual drivers licence.
