Role Details

• Location: Goldfields region, WA
• Roster: 7/7 (rotating days and nights) OR 14/14 (days and nights)

About the Role

An underground Nipper who is an integral part of the crew, assisting highly experienced Jumbo operators.

Responsibilities

• Assist jumbo operator with installation of bolts and mesh for ground support.
• Collect, deliver and assist instillation and ground support consumables.
• Assisting mining teams by supplying necessary materials and ensuring efficient work processes
• Transporting personnel and equipment safely underground, often using light vehicles and other equipment.
• Managing stock and supplies in underground storage areas, ensuring they are accounted for and available.
• Performing housekeeping and maintenance tasks to keep the work environment clean and safe
• Keeping track of everything that’s happening around the mine to ensure smooth operations.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience as an underground Nipper.
• Ability to cope working in a fast paced, physically challenging environment. 
• Current unrestricted C Class MANUAL Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
• Detailed knowledge of underground mining and safety regulations.
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Ability to manage fatigue and hydration throughout shift.
• Working at Heights, Dangerous Good Security Card and First Aid Certificate (Highly desired).
