About the role
- Partner with the business development and tendering team to identify, shape, and assess growth opportunities
- Lead project due diligence and build robust financial models to support commercial and economic decision making
- Apply technical and operational expertise to influence bid strategies and support new and existing projects
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation including clients to communicate value and build trust
- Unique opportunity to join a highly successful, growth focused business with strong customer relationships and an ambitious pipeline
- Monday to Friday role based at the Macmahon Head Office in the Perth Airport (T1/T2) precinct with occasional site visits
About you
- Mining industry background with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in an engineering, operational, commercial or leadership role
- Strong technical and operational credibility, with proven experience facilitating and managing technical studies up to and including bankable feasibility studies
- Commercially astute, with strong analytical and financial modelling capability and a clear understanding of value drivers
- Exposure to contract law and commercial risk considerations
- A confident communicator who can articulate technical concepts clearly, influence stakeholders and represent the business externally
- A relationship builder with the ability to develop trusted partnerships with clients and internal teams
- Ambitious, growth oriented and motivated by creating opportunities in a high performing business
