Senior Officer - Payroll

Job Responsibilities

Join our payroll team as an inspiring Senior Payroll Officer, where you will play a vital role in supporting our national operations. In this position, you will embrace the full payroll processing cycle, ensuring precision and adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. 

About the role
 

• Reporting to the Payroll Manager, key responsibilities include:
• Process fortnightly/monthly end-to-end payroll accurately and on time.
• Provide support, assistance and advice to management and employees on payroll matters.
• Review and manage exceptions in Time & Attendance system ensuring accurate pays 
• Utilise your experience to support and grow the team. 
• Ensure compliance with legislative changes and assist with reconciliations.
• Assist in the maintenance of payroll systems and ensure data accuracy.

About you

• Demonstrate at least 5 years' end to end payroll experience and knowledge
• Love using your advanced excel skills, to ensure payroll accuracy and efficiency
• Sound experience with interpreting awards and legislation.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to excellence.
• Chris21 or Oracle ECP payroll experience would be advantageous but not essential.
