Manager - Risk and Internal Audit

Job Responsibilities

As a result of growth and expansion at Macmahon, we are looking for a dedicated Risk and Internal Audit Manager to manage this function of the Group. 

About the role
 

• Develop and facilitate Risk Management process aligned with ISO 31000 and ASX Principles and Recommendations for Good Governance.
• Develop and submit a risk-based audit strategy and budget to the Audit and Risk Committee.
• Deliver assurance reviews per the annual audit plan, using external co-sourced resources.
• Assess new or changing services, processes, operations for governance, risk, and control effectiveness.
• Build strong relationships at all levels to promote risk management and audit visibility.

About you

• Experience in either Risk Management or Internal Audit in industry or with Professional Services.
• Experience in developing and delivering strategies for assurance in a large/medium sized organisation.
• Track record in mapping strategic and operational organisational risks.
• Evidence of delivering high profile projects including prioritising skills, issue escalation and action planning.
• Experience in devising and delivering a wide variety of reporting utilising a range of methods up to Board level.
