Advisor - Recruitment
Macmahon is on the lookout for a proactive and experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our Underground Mining team. You will play a pivotal role in building a strong underground team to support Macmahon’s continious growth in the mining sector.
About the role
- Monday – Friday, based at the Perth Airport.
- Lead the recruitment process for Macmahon’s underground portfolio, including advertising roles, reviewing CVs, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and providing a seamless experience for candidates.
- Partner with hiring managers to develop clear job specifications and recruitment strategies to attract high-quality talent for underground roles.
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on best practices and industry trends for recruitment.
- Manage candidate pipelines and maintain accurate records of recruitment activities in Success Factors.
- Promote Macmahon’s employer brand to attract top talent to the company.

About you
- Experience in underground mining operations recruitment or relevent industries.
- Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on recruitment goals.
- Proven ability to source and attract high-quality candidates.
- Familiarity with sourcing tools, strategies, and techniques, particularly for skilled trades and technical positions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with candidates at all levels, providing a positive candidate experience.
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritise recruitment needs across multiple roles and projects.
- Experience with Success Factors desirable.
