About the Role 

You’ll carry out repairs, servicing and diagnostics on raise drills and IT fleet across our Olympic Dam Project. You’ll work alongside experienced teammates who share knowledge and support each other to get the job done safely and efficiently.

• Roster: 8:6 roster (every 3rd rotation will be a week of Night Shift)

Responsibilities 

• Diagnostics, repairs and preventative maintenance on raise drills and IT fleet
• Complete servicing to OEM standards and site procedures
• Support strong equipment availability and safe, reliable performance
• Speak-up and contribute to our culture; everyone home safe, every swing
• Work closely with production and planning teams to schedule work

What You’ll Bring

• Australian Recognised trade qualification (Cert III in Mobile Plant) or equivalent.
• Experience with Raise Bore drill rigs & associated equipment  (e.g. Robbins, Dresser, Atlas Copco/Epiroc, Herrenknecht, Volvo IT’s).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability with Hydraulic, 24v CAN/ RCS 4-5 electrics, and mechanical issues.
• Experience with underground or surface drilling equipment.
• Valid manual C Class Australian Drivers Licence (Mandatory).
• Working at Heights, High Risk Forklift Ticket and First Aid (Essential), dogging & rigging (desirable).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
• Exceptional record keeping and time management
• Detailed knowledge of underground mining and safety regulations.
