Macmahon has an opportunity for experienced HD Drill Fitter to join our team. These positions are based at Olympic Dam Mine Site. Olympic Dam is the sixth largest known copper ore body, fifth largest gold ore body and largest uranium ore body in the world. It also contains significant quantities of silver and stands as the largest underground mine in Australia.

Skills & Experience Required;
- Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence (minimum)
- Proven experience in the repairs and maintenance of raisebore drill rigs
- Breakdown repairs and servicing of heavy mining equipment ideally with hydraulic competencies
- Diagnostic fault finding on mechanical systems
- Maintain maintenance data on a daily basis
- Sound planning and organisational skills
As a part of the recruitment process for this role you are required to complete a pre-employment medical, inclusive of drug and alcohol screening and completion of criminal history and qualification checks. Additionally, you will be required to provide proof of working rights in Australia, i.e. a copy of your valid Australian passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate or current visa grant notification.
