Administrator - HSEQ & Training - Mt Carlton

Macmahon is seeking an experienced HSEQT Administrator to support the recommencement of operations at Mt Carlton mine. Located approximately two hours south of Townsville, Mt Carlton is a gold silver operation preparing to transition from care and maintenance back into production. This restart presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the establishment of safe, efficient and sustainable operational practices from the outset.

 

This position operates on a 5 Days On / 2 Days Off roster, DIDO only.

 

About The Role

  • Maintain and update HSEQT systems, databases and registers. 
  • Assist with onboarding processes, including inductions and training record management. 
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation as required. 
  • Support incident reporting and corrective action tracking. 
  • Manage document control and version management for policies, procedures and forms. 
  • Coordinate training bookings, VOCs, licences and competency records. 
  • Provide administrative support to the HSEQT team and operational sites. 
  • Assist in preparation for audits, inspections and compliance activities

 

About You

  • Previous experience in HSEQ, training, or compliance administration (mining/resources experience highly regarded). 
  • Strong systems capability, with confidence using HSEQ platforms and MS Office Suite. 
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation. 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. 
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.
