The Gwalia Gold Mine is located three kilometres south of the town of Leonora, Western Australia, and has been a flagship asset for our client St Barbara for the past 15 years. Macmahon is proud to be able to deliver a whole of mine service including mine development, ground support, production drilling and blasting, loading and trucking, shotcreting and paste fill reticulation from May 2021. The Gwalia mine is the cornerstone of Leonora operations and has strong margins supported by good grades and a focus on costs and returns. The site has a track record of continuous improvement, with a recently upgraded mine ventilation system, and a previous significant upgrade of the accommodation village that incorporated a number of energy efficient and environmentally friendly initiatives.

The Macmahon Underground team is seeking a Shotcrete Nozzleman to work FIFO on 2/2 roster, available from Perth to project site.

To be considered in this position you must have;

Relevant Shotcrete experience
Previous Experience working on underground spraying equipment (Jacon preferred)
Ability to read plans
Previous experience in a large scale production mining environment
Sound planning and organisational skills
Physically fit for the demands of the role
Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner
Current Driver's licence
