HD Fitter - Underground
Macmahon Maintenance Masters (MMM) provides labour support to Macmahon's surface and underground mining operations. The team is composed of experienced tradespeople and is suited to someone who is technically experienced, confident in their abilities and excited by the prospect of a new challenge every day!

Location: The King of the Hills Gold Mine is located in the Northern Gold Fields region of Western Australia. It is approximately 233 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie and 750 kilometres by air from Perth.
About the role:
2:2 roster (Nights and Days) - flying back from Day Shift
Option of Permanent OR Casual Full Time Employment
Option to work on field service (flexible rosters)
Rates up to $89 per hour
Annual Loyalty Bonus (it gets better every year of service!)
Only 1hr 15mins flight from Perth + 20 mins to camp + 9 mins to site
Virgin flight – collect frequent flyer points
Mostly new fleet
About you
- Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology)
- Knowledge and experience in the maintenance and repair of various underground heavy mobile plant
- Sound diagnostic skills and ability to read and understand schematics
- Automotive air conditioning certificate – not essential but preferred
- Current manual Australian Driver’s License (Mandatory)
Underground Machines on site:
- LH621 & LH517 loader boggers,
- Sandvik DD422 Development drills,
- Sandvik DL431 Production drills,Nor
- Epiroc MT65 trucks and
- Volvo LH120 and LH90.
