We are currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Team, working Monday to Friday. Please note that our head office is located in a close proximity to Perth International Airport.

Reporting to Manager of Underground Services, the primary focus of the role is support the Drilling & Ground Support Services Team, by overseeing all head office administrative tasks.

Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating daily data entry of production statistics, safety statistics, site rosters, travel data and payroll information using the relevant databases;
  • Coordinating and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of end of month reporting;
  • Compiling and distributing monthly and daily reports within specified time-frame;
  • Managing Uncommitted Receipts and the Document Library for all sites;
  • Completing requisitions accurately and efficiently;
  • InSite Data Entry Template (DET) management;
  • Preparing and submitting progress claims to clients & liaising with Accounts with regards to invoicing
  • Assisting with set-up of new projects using Macmahon systems;
  • Coordinating and ensuring the accuracy of weekly pays for wages employees;
  • Booking travel for site and Head office staff as required;
  • Assisting with on-boarding process for new starters;  
  • Maintaining Sharepoint people profiles, project listings and organisational charts;
  • Liaising effectively with clients, staff and other stakeholders
  • Travelling to sites spread across Australia from time to time
  • Ordering stationery and uniforms as requested;
  • Providing administration support to head office staff; and
  • Covering reception as required.

To be considered for a role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within mining or resources environment;
  • Demonstrated experience with various GIS applications in particular Insite, Roster On, InControl and Mainpac;
  • High level of organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team; 
  • High level of competency in the use of Microsoft Office applications;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Ability to travel to sites across Australia as required;
  • Demonstrating commitment to Macmahon safety culture and values; and
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence.
