Macmahon are seeking a talented and energetic HR Advisor with a broad range of HR skills to provide HR generalist support to the Telfer project, FIFO from Perth on a 4:3 roster. The position will involve;

  • Provide general HR advice and support to managers and project employees
  • Facilitate positive employee engagement aligned with Macmahon culture and values
  • Drive the implementation of new HR initiatives across the workforce
  • Effective case management of people related issues such as: EEO complaints, performance management, grievance and absence management
  • Deliver training/coaching to managers and supervisors on HR / ER related topics
  • Work with HR Services team to facilitate the recruitment, selection and on boarding of new hires
  • Provide general advice on remuneration and benefits
  • Coordinate the performance development program for site
  • Develop positive working relationships with key stakeholders and senior management
  • Month end HR reporting

To be considered for this position you must have;

  • Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in a similar HR generalist advisory role in fast paced, results focussed environment
  • Proficient in practical application of the Fairwork Act and applicable industrial instruments
  • Strong problem solving, negotiating and influencing skills
  • High organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
  • High degree of confidentiality and integrity
  • High energy levels and ability to work in a remote location
