Macmahon is currently seeking experienced Electric Shovel Trainers join the Project team on site in South Africa on a Platinum Mine. These positions are offered on a 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off pattern for a 6 month fixed term assignment.
About the role:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled trainer to join our team at Mogalakwena, South Africa. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to develop their skills and gain international experience, to provide industry leading operating standards across a large Platinum Operation. Your expertise in driving optimisation and ability to communicate across cultures will be highly regarded.
The primary focus of the roles is to drive productivity improvement and to assist with infield management support and advise the current workforce on best practice.
Evaluate, upgrade and develop training materials to Macmahon standards
Promote the Macmahon values to the local workforce
Drive the behaviours and capabilities of the production team
Enhance the skills of our people to improve their operating skills and performance;
Contribute to the ongoing development of the proficiency modelling
As a successful candidate, you will possess the following:
Certificate IV in Training & Assessing
Electric Rope Shovel experience
Large excavator experience desirable - P&H 4100 preferred
Overseas/Expat experience desirable
Good people management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Available to commence ASAP
