Trainer - UG Learning and Development

The Macmahon Underground team are seeking an Underground Trainer to work a 2 weeks on 2 weeks roster FIFO out of Perth at our Gwalia underground mine located at our client's gold mine on the outskirts of Leonora, Western Australia.

The primary focus of the role is to co-ordinate the delivery of all operational training requirements across Macmahon's Gwalia Operation to ensure site personnel can perform their roles in accordance with site, industry standards and Macmahon policies and procedures.

Essential Requirements:

Current Cert IV TAE
Minimum 5 years underground experience
Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
Current Australian C class Driver’s Licence (manual)
Competent in operating various equipment with haul truck, loader and ancillary equipment as a minimum
Ability to communicate confidently, build rapport and effectively liaise with people at all levels

Desirable Requirements:

Recent RII Qualifications for heavy mining equipment
Certificate IV WHS
Frontline management certification/training
First aid certificate
