Trainer and Assessor

Job Responsibilities

The Greenbushes mine is located 90kms from Bunbury and is an open-pit lithium mine.

Macmahon is currently seeking an experienced Workshop Trainer and Assessor to join the Greenbushes team and coordinate the delivery of all operational training and associated requirements to enable site personnel to perform their role in accordance with industry standards and the policies and procedures of Macmahon and the client.

About the role

• DIDO or home each night for locals.
• 8/6 roster.
• Brand new camp – state of the art gym, netted driving range, tennis court, top notch wet mess.
• Record all shift data and activities in line with site requirements.
• Consult with leaders, workers and stakeholders on HSEQ matters.
• Conduct Safe Act Observations (SAO’s), and correct processes and behaviours as required.
• Lead the delivery of all training requirements across the project, ensuring all workers can safely perform their roles in accordance with Company procedures and industry standards.

About you

• Cert IV Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Over 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
• Competent operating Mining equipment in a workshop environment (Haul Trucks, Excavators, Dozers, Loaders and Graders)
• Current Australian C Class driver’s licence.
• High Risk Work Licences an advantage
