Excavator Operator

Exciting new Hot seating Crew

Macmahon is currently seeking expressions of interest for experienced Excavator Operators to join our new Hot Seating Crew at the Greenbushes Lithium Mine. 

 

About the role

  • Lifestyle roster - 8 hour shifts so you can be home every night
  • Drive-In, Drive-Out (DIDO) to Greenbrushes Lithium Mine
  • Flexible roster options:
    • 2:1 (nights/days)
    • 7:7 (nights/days)

Please note: These roles are open to candidates living within a 120-minute drive of the Greenbushes site, Maranup Ford Road, Greenbushes WA. Camp accommodation is not provided. 

 

About you

  • Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Physically fit for the demands of the role
  • Proven ability to operate in a safe and efficient manner

 

Demonstrated experience operating:

  • Hitachi Excavators EX1200, EX2600, EX3600, and other machine models

 

Able to operator other Ancillary Machines and Dump Trucks when required including:

  • Dump Trucks: CAT 777 and 785
  • Dozers: CAT D10T Track, 844K and 854K Wheel Dozers
  • Graders: CAT 16M and 16H
  • Loader: Komatsu WA900, CAT 992 and 988
