Tyre Fitter
Job Responsibilities

We are currently seeking experienced Tyre Fitters to join our team at our Foxleigh mine. You will remove and refit tyres on various types of mining equipment, including haul trucks and other heavy machinery.
About the Role
- Removing and refitting tyres on various types of mining equipment, including haul trucks and other heavy machinery.
- Inspecting tyres for damage, assessing the need for repair, and carrying out repairs, including patching and plugging.
- Regularly checking tyre pressure and adjusting it according to manufacturer specifications and site requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of tyre inspections, repairs, and replacements.
About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
- Relevant certifications in tyre fitting (such as Certificate II or III in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology, or equivalent).
- Proficiency in using tools and equipment for tyre fitting, including air-driven equipment, tyre changers, and wheel balancing equipment.
- Previous experience as a tyre fitter, particularly in a mining or heavy earthmoving environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of tyre types and sizes.
