We are currently looking for an experienced Support Supervisor to join our Perth Workshop Team, working Monday to Friday. Please note that our office and the main workshop are located in a close proximity to Perth International Airport.

Reporting to Workshop Superintendent, Support Supervisor is responsible for managing all support functions of the workshop (planning, estimating, WIP control, invoicing, administration and tool store). Daily duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining, developing and implementing Macmahon policies and procedures;
  • Accurate and effective estimating and planning;
  • Operational reporting & assisting in the implementation and control of workshop documentation;
  • Leading and building customer relationships;
  • Contributing to investigating failures;
  • Providing technical support to external and internal customers for warranty claims;
  • Assisting with decision making on the best course of action with consideration to customer downtime and company costs;
  • Scheduling and prioritising component builds to fulfil warranty replacement or repair commitment;
  • Creating and delegating actions and quality alerts if necessary; and
  • Identifying and proposing business improvement opportunities to make the service provided by the workshop more cost effective and/or profitable.

About you:

  • Well-established leadership experience in workshop environment, preferably accompanied by trade certificate or relevant tertiary qualification;
  • Demonstrated knowledge of earth-moving and civil machinery;
  • Ability to understand basic financial data such as return on sales and market rates;
  • Capability to analyse data and point our discrepancies and irregularities;
  •  High level of computer literacy inclusive of MS Word, Excel and Project; and
  • Current "C" Class WA Drivers Licence or equivalent.
