Serviceperson

Macmahon Surface Mining Australia is seeking an experienced Service Person to join the Byerwen maintenance team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll safely refuel, grease and service heavy mobile plant, assist trades with maintenance and repairs, and support general workshop tasks. You’ll conduct equipment inspections, report defects promptly and maintain accurate service and compliance records. 

About the role

• Safely carry out refuelling, greasing and routine servicing of heavy mobile plant
• Assist trades teams with maintenance, equipment washing and repair tasks
• Support general mechanical and workshop duties as required
• Conduct equipment inspections during servicing and report defects promptly
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation

About you

• Proven experience as a Service Person in mining or heavy industry
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work effectively within a team
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical preferred, though not essential
