Paramedic

We are currently seeking experienced Paramedics to join our team at our Byerwen mine. You will develop, assist, review on Emergency Response procedures for Byerwen based upon mine site locations, work area activities, introduction and existing types of mobile fixed and plant equipment.

About the Role

• Refuse or stop work where they feel there is a risk of harm to themselves, others, the environment or to Macmahon equipment.
• Provide crisis, emergency response readiness by always being contactable via radio and or mobile telephone after hours.
• Develop, assist, review on Emergency Response procedures for Byerwen based upon mine site locations, work area activities, introduction and existing types of mobile fixed and plant equipment.
• Undertake Drug and alcohol testing as required.

About You

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• Proven experience as a paramedic.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications.
• Good knowledge of medical equipment and devices.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Ability to remain calm and make decisions in emergency response situations
