Open Cut Examiner
Join the Byerwen Team as an EXPERIENCED Open Cut Examiner and be responsible for effective safe operation of the coal mine. This position is a stand-alone OCE, working alongside the Supervisor.
About the role
• DIDO or BIBO
• 7:7 day/night roster
• Full Time Permanent Position
• Monitor the safe productivity of dozer, load haul activities in accordance with the site procedures and legislation
• Identify non-compliance issues and apply corrective actions to rectify
• Daily pit/workplace inspections as per legislative requirements
• Adjust work plans where necessary and effectively communicate the changes to crew and others impacted by said changes
• Strong focus on safety
About you
• Queensland Open Cut Examiner Certificate
• RIIENV301 – conduct Atmospheric Monitoring Certificate
• Supervisor S1, S2, S3 and G2 competencies
• Proven demonstrated experience as an OCE in a coal mining environment
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels both verbally and written
• Coal Board Medical S4 or HA Report
• Standard 11
• Current Drivers Licence – Manual
