Compliance Advisor
We’re seeking a motivated Compliance Advisor to support contractor performance and statutory compliance at Brolga Village. This site‑based role is an excellent opportunity for a HSEQ Administrator, HSEQ Officer, or HSEQ Advisor from mining or another high‑risk industry who’s ready to step into a broader compliance and governance position. You’ll work closely with the Compliance Manager and operational leaders to uphold Macmahon’s safety, compliance, and client standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- 5:2 roster, BIBO or DIDO.
- Monitor contractor performance and support governance processes across daily operations.
- Assist with statutory compliance activities, including documentation, audits, and reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen contractor management and safety culture.
- Work alongside the Compliance Manager to ensure alignment with QLD mining legislation.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with site teams, contractors, and client representatives.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in HSEQ or contractor compliance within mining, construction, energy, manufacturing, logistics, or another high‑risk industry.
- Working knowledge of QLD mining legislation, or the willingness and capability to develop this quickly with support.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to safety, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Confident communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
