Management Accountant
We are seeking an enthusiastic Management Accountant to join our motivated and results driven finance team in Brisbane. The role will provide reporting to key stakeholders, a broad range of management and financial accounting, financial modelling and general commercial support to the business.
About the Role
- Preparation of financial reports, including attending to the month-end close process.
- Analyse financial data to monitor costs, identify variances, and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure all financial records comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Attend to Balance Sheet reconciliations for the legal entity.
- Participate in regular project and team meetings to improve understanding of the operations and business.
About You
- CPA or CA qualified
- Minimum 2 years' accounting experience with exposure to medium sized public companies.
- Strong management accounting and financial modelling skills.
- Flexibility to travel occasionally to further develop company stakeholder relationships.
- Experience utilizing SAP4hana software desired but not essential.
- Experience within surface mining operations is desired but not essential.
