Macmahon are currently seeking a dynamic Support Supervisor to join the Perth Workshop team based near the Perth International Airport. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, hours will depend on operational requirements and reporting into the Workshop Superintendent. 

Key accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:


  • The role of the Support Supervisor is to supervise, manage and oversee all aspects of the support roles that provide support to the workshop department.
  • Contribute to maintaining, developing and implementing Macmahon policies and procedures
  • Accurate and effective estimating and planning
  • Operational reporting & assist in the implementation and control of workshop documentation
  • Liaise with customer reps
  • Contribute to investigating failures
  • Provide technical support to external and internal customers for warranty claims
  • Contribute to decision making on the best course of action with consideration to customer downtime and company costs
  • Schedule and prioritise component builds to fulfil warranty replacement or repair commitment
  • Create and delegate actions and quality alerts if necessary
  • Employ the services of experts in the fields as required
  • Identify and propose business improvement opportunities to make the service provided by the workshop more cost effective or profitable

The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail focused, team player and will possess the following:


  • Trade Qualification
  • Experience in workplace leadership
  • High Knowledge of earthmoving and civil machinery
  • Computer literate with MS Word/Excel/Project
