Location: WAC Workshop

Macmahon is currently seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to join the Macmahon team at the Perth Mechanical Workshop. Reporting directly to the Workshop Supervisor you will be assisting the component rebuild team at the workshop. The position will be Monday – Friday.

Key accountabilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Scheduling of component rebuild resources and activities at agreed intervals using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and manual spreadsheets as required
  • Working with the Workshop Supervisors to prioritise planned and unplanned  workshop activities
  • Forecasting parts and material for all planned  activities
  • Liaise and control deliverables with external service providers

The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail focused, team player and will possess the following:

  • Experience with a varied range of mining equipment & heavy plant maintenance and repairs
  • Experience in scheduling production type environments
  • Relevant trade qualification with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the mining industry desirable but not essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Sound knowledge of parts procurement
  • Sound knowledge of supplier engagment
